Wait till time!

There are times… I believe, there is no world around me,
I am … just you to please.
For there’s no love, no lust to feel,
An elusive feeling…going beyond you and me.

Days seem numbered and nights are running dry,
I see the world; it’s just you and I.
There are fewer twinkles above, tells the story of your eyes,
There is no journey of me wandering, somehow I still feel shy!

For no space within me and shelter is hard to seek,
It’s the wait for a little whisper, some soul like you to meet,
The walk of a thousand miles, sometimes going beyond time,
There is no song, no rhythm left to rhyme.

But the wait doesn’t seem so long, somewhere with you along,
I know there is a glory road; little ahead… may be beyond…

The Traveller’s Song

"In soared paths, I travelled along,
Trying to find the rhythm and song,
The mistiness in the winds talks to me through,
A song of the traveller that is written for me too!

The angles lighting the lamps just before dawn,
Droplets from the petals fall on the ground,
I hear the churning just getting loud,
And then shy away from the lions’ crowd.

It’s the beauty of my journey that’s telling me to,
Wait a little longer; there is a surprise in store for you,
I have smelt the soil and stroked the stream,
I am getting the feeling of the traveler within me.

So scant, yet with time to travel,
Will savour every sight and mile to marvel,
From two different ends we will meet someday,
Share our tales and walk by the bay.

I sing by the trail - the autumn’s song,
Today in this town … and then set my foot on another ground,
The swanky ways of living out of a bag,
And will love even to dwell in a sack.

From the icy mountains to the freshness of white sand,
It’s the glory of the thought,
I want to bury in my hands.

Like me, you have your own song,
Sweet, sour … sometimes loosing ground,
There is a hunger that is oozing all around,
Guess it’s that thirst, which has forgone."

Lie in the dark and...

"Lie in the dark,
And listen to the rain.
Lie in my arms,
And feel my pain.

I walked for miles,
For a glimpse of you.
I travelled in dark,
To get a feel of you.

The heartening thunder,
And the lightening that hit the ground.
Was it a blunder?
Or a bullet sound.

The letter you sent,
Which left me drenched?
Ripping an arrow through my heart,
And tearing it apart.

Was it my fault?
That I fell in love.
Or was it a bird,
Which flew away like a dove.

In my last letter,
I set you free.
But I just want to know,
As to why you betrayed me.

I felt I should have died that night,
When the stars in the sky were not so bright.
I shall now live my life,
With only one question left …why?"

If we have a world tomorrow!

“I dream in daylight wanting to know the paths of life,
I find solace in sunrise and feel the need of it in our lives.

It blossoms like an aging flower,
Waiting till the end of the day,
But enchants one, with just a look,
And spreads the love in his way!

The life I touched,
And the love I felt for life,
The fact, it wasn’t there across the paths that I stride.

I knew that love lost me ambling in doubt,
An answer that still awaits me some how,
I don’t feel the need to lie in sorrow,
But I need to ask if we have a world tomorrow?

It came, went … and I waited in spells for it to change,
At times it was closer than I thought and then went out of range,
I lost it again what I went to find,
Something precious … close to me that was mine.

The fact remains that she knows now,
And wants to run ahead of the crowd,
Love is beginning to loose its shine,
And baby… it’s going to cost us if we have to sail through the time.

Strong is she wanted to be,
And begged for it to let her free,
There is no holding you back dear,
But there is something one needs to fear.

Its no mistake that love brought us joy and cheer,
And sheltered us and got us near.
It coloured us with flaming light,
And told us that we were right!

But it kept going down to the starts,
Which somehow just kept us apart?
I don’t want to see it going to the gallows,
But I need to ask if we have a world tomorrow?

If it has to be …then it won’t wither away,
And Sweety, I just have a little more to say,
If I had to ask myself one last time,
I beat the spade of dwindling time.

Love is not lost and neither looses you,
But wherever you will go you’ll see me to.
You’ll envision me when you think of it,
You may drink the spirit but it will be hard to swallow it.

It hard to imagine you without the wedding gown,
That’s why love has to take a turnaround!
But then I need to ask if we have a world tomorrow?
The answer came to me by a singing sparrow!
…For a world with you today and tomorrow

Colour of ….?

"My love for you through the time,
Your love for me, hold it tight….
Let it sail together through the tide,
May it be together by our side!

I cannot swear by the moon or the stars,
But when I romance you, I shall start with flowers,
It’s the symbol for freshness and colour,
Which, we need ourselves to cover.

Along with the mighty long nights,
And the sweltering long days,
We shall walk in the sea,
And dance with the waves.

It’s a thought that sometimes come to me,
What is the colour, love should be?
The happiness of life, which is known to me,
Just wanders with the colour it wants to be.

Love is a concoction of shadow and light,
When you want, you see it right,
And when it’s not,
You tend to wither away from its sight.

At the midst of the dwindling time,
I see the colours, which at once were so bright,
Wonder when their thirst will dry,
Wonder when you’ll see it come by.

My love for you through the time,
Your love for me, hold it tight…."
